Tuition fee waiver scheme
- The Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme is applicable to all engineering courses.
- The supernumerary seats not exceeding five percent of sanctioned intake of the colleges or institutions shall be filled on the basis of merit of the candidate, the annual income of whose parents is less than Rs. 4.5 lakhs from all sources of income.
- The Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme shall be for the complete duration of the course and the students admitted under this scheme shall not be allowed to change the institution or the course under any circumstances.
To get the benefit of TFW scheme, the candidate has to submit the income certificate issued in the name of his father (in case of father is not alive, in the name of mother) from either ‘Mamlatdar’ or ‘Taluka development officer’ or Collector (Jan Seva Kendra) at the time of registration for admission. No other certificate/document will be considered valid (e.g. Income tax return copy, Certificate issued by ‘Sarpanch’ of Grampanchayat etc.)

Admission Procedure75% of the total sanctioned seats of the Professional Engineering Courses of the Merchant Engineering College, shall be filled up by centralized Engineering admission committee, Government Engineering, Ahmedabad.
But during 2013 – 2014 admission Management has surrender all the seats to the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) so all the seats will be filled up by Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC)
Admission is offered by centralized Engineering admission committee appointed by Government of Gujarat & by the Management of the College on the bases of marks obtained in the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination from total 300 marks in the subject of (1) Mathematics (2) Chemistry (3) Physics and JEE.
